Drew Rogers

Drew is the Founder of My Language Lab (formerly The Spanish Academy) and has tutored hundreds of students from adults to exam students and SMEs. Her portfolio of corporate clients including Google, Admiral PLC, BBC, NHS, The Economist, Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Premiership Football Clubs, Amey PLC, Pinewood TV Studios and PHS Group PLC.

Drew was born in Tanzania and moved to London speaking little English. Within a few years, she’d won a scholarship to an independent girls school in Surrey, ranked in the top 50 Independent Schools league table. She studied European Studies and later Spanish at Cardiff University where she obtained a BA Honours Degree.

Following graduation, she worked as a Financial and Business Analyst for Citigroup and Thomson Reuters in the City, liaising with Spanish and French banks.

Returning to her love of languages, she launched her first academy in Cardiff before later opening in London.

Drew is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Gujarati and conversational Italian and is a regular contributor to BBC Radio on various language-speaking topics.
