We tutor students on the following exam boards: AQA, Edexcel, Cambridge, OCR, WJEC, Eduqas and IB.

Our tutors start practising past exam papers a little earlier than students usually might in school so that they can hit the ground running for upcoming assessments and exam preparation. We place a lot of importance on exam and revision techniques because sometimes students need to bridge the gap between what they have learnt and how to apply this knowledge.

Our teachers have up-to-date experience on past exam papers, mark schemes, syllabus requirements, examiner reports and specifications.

Students will study different question formats such as comprehension questions, gap fill, photo cards, essay writing, multiple choice, true or false and so forth. They will learn to how to approach each style of question and understand what the examiner is looking for in order for them to achieve the higher tier marks.

Students will also gain a better understanding of how to navigate the exam board website and refer to mark schemes during class and for homework so that they have a clearer overview.

Exam specifications are subject to change, especially recently, so we will keep students and parents informed of any updates. We also guide private external candidates who are resetting exams, being homeschooled or taking languages as an extra subject on the AQA, Edexcel, Cambridge, OCR, WJEC, Eduqas or IB exam boards.
