How it works

Hassle-free language learning

We want to make language learning seamless, an activity that fits around your lifestyle so that you can start learning and see results. Our booking process is pretty straightforward: get in touch to arrange your free Assessment (currently only available online), let us match you up with a tutor that’s the right fit for you, pay for your package and arrange a timetable directly with your tutor.

FYI, most of our classes are taught online though face-to-face classes in London and Cardiff can be arranged by appointment and dependent on availability.

Step 1
Book your free assessment

Sign up for your free 30-minute assessment (it takes less than 1 minute) and we’ll invite you for a chat on Zoom. We’ll assess what you’re looking for, the key areas you need help with (if you’re not a beginner) and tell you more about our timetable, resources, tutors and prices. It’s a great chance for you to ask us any questions and have a feel of what lessons will be like.

Step 3
Choose your package

We offer 1:1 and 2:1 classes. Choose from our PAYG option (great for those starting out) or discounted block bookings (4, 8 or 12 hours). Arrange your lessons directly with your tutor and you’re all set! There’s no registration fees or expiry date and you can pause or cancel anytime. We’ve also got you covered for add-ons such as monthly memberships, custom packages, translation, interpretation, CV and UCAS consultations.

Step 5
Stay connected

We’re always here to help. Visit our Support Centre, email us, use our Live Chat for on-demand help or call us on 0333 772 0785 if you prefer to talk, we’re open Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm. We’d love to see you join our community on social plus you’ll receive newsletters from us when we have special offers and to check in and see how you’re getting on.

Step 2
Get matched with your tutor

Once you decide to register, you don’t need to overwhelm yourself looking through 100’s of tutors in multiple directories – we’ll match you up. Our tutors are multi-lingual, well-travelled and teaching is their main profession. Even though we have tutors all over the world, from London to Cardiff and Spain to California, our team is small (but perfectly formed) so that we can give you more personalised customer service.

Step 4
Learn and measure your progress

Join your tutor on Skype, Zoom or Google Hangouts (or in London/Cardiff for face-to-face lessons arranged by appointment and dependent on availability). Online learning is interactive and seamless through features such as HD video calls, lesson video recording (if you wish to play it back later or for revision), annotating tools, smart messaging for corrections on the board, screen sharing, audio and video sharing, uploading files and syncing across all devices. Plus your classes include all learning resources, progress reports and end of course certificates.
